My guess is there's still one guy with a garage full of junk keeping an eye on things, just waiting for some sucker to pay $399 for an LC475 motherboard.

Their pricing is a little bit high. A PCI to IDE adapter with a 40gig HD costs $600! You could get a G4 for that much!

Looking at their web page gives me an idea. They have an Performa 6200 logic board for $449. I'll be more than happy to sell the Performa 6200 I have laying around (full system, not just a logic board) for $50 less. At $399 it'll be a steal! Any takers? Anyone? ... Was that tumbleweed that just blew by?

That said, if it really is just one guy with a garage full of what used to be their products, I bet you could just call 'em up and negotiate a fair, modern price.

I tried contacting them months ago but I got no answer. I tried again when I saw this post and actually talked to someone. No more Diimo 030's in stock.
Maybe it's a front for Chinese spies, or Al Quaeda, or the Bill Gates' Mac Fan Club.

and just what does 90/45 MHz mean? Although expensive... many accellerator solutions for the SE/30 are still insanely expensive.
It means that they're lying to you and calling an (overclocked) 45Mhz 68040 a 90Mhz chip because it has a 90mhz clock signal input.

They are the authors of Tech Tool Pro. So I imagine they gave up on hardware and switched to purely software. Is Tech Tool Pro still an active product? I have versions 2 & 3 and I think I saw version 4 for sale.
They produced the interesting Brainstorm accelerator for the Plus and SE. It is long discontinued, but Sun Remarketing (who is now selling through Ebay) has or had many many of the Brainstorms for Mac Plus available. I picked up five of them.

I just got the weirdest mac from MicroMac, it's called the micromac SE, it's where they took a mac se board, put it in a new chassis with an odd graphics card and PDS slot 68030 chip. I wanna use it but i have no idea what signal the graphics card sends out (EGA, CGA, Hercules, it's a DB9 connector), so i am using it as a headless paperweight
but if any of you guys know much about this computer, feel free to tell me

But I can tell you all about them since Miss Vixen had a brief stint being employeed there as a receptionist when the Macarena ruled the world and the only Bush in the White House belong to a young intern named Monica. ('Cuz between you and me, we all know Hillary has a penis).
Yes, I know, I was probably the sultry, sexy voice that greeted your pleading calls. I would listen to angry customers call in and ask why the damn ThunderCache Pro wasn't shipping, where the Power Master was, and when the damn PowerBoy would ship?!!! I know. I know. Talk about product names bordering on the teetering edge of gay sadomasicsm. But what would you expect? The company was run by, I believe, two German engineers. Oye! Vey! Farfegnugen they weren't. Another man who was their VP would run around half clothed in his BVDs while changing to go the gym. Goodness. Steward Little would be proud, and that's all I'm gonna say.
So long story short, I left before the going got good. From former co-workers I heard the company was bouncing checks and employees would make a mad rush to the bank to cash their checks ASAP before the coffers were depleted for that particular pay period. The company obviously couldn't keep up with the times and ended up back where I believe it started--in the CEO's garage. They no longer exist in Aliso Viejo and for that matter, do they even exist today? Like someone mentioned, their site has been stuck in 1996 for ages.
Sigh...to be so young and talented with my tongue in those hey day 90s. But of course, a girl never states her age and I'm forever 23. On that note, anyone for a Martini?
