I found an old Apple I in my closet retired after much use. It still has the original shipping box from Steve Job's garage for reasons unknown. It worked last time I used it. Any offers?

Do you have a digital camera you could take a few pictures of it with? (I'm personally not in the market for one, but I'd really like to see a few photos of it.
There are quite a few photos on http://www.digibarn.com/friends/jef-raskin/apple-1/index.html. I can get a friend to make some more detailed pictures, should anyone want them.
The link did not work for me. I'd love to have it, but somehow think I cannot afford it. (pm me if you think I can)
i sent you a PM
Link fixed.
When you last used it, can you tell us how you confirmed it was working? What programs did you run? What was on the display?
That's Jef Raskin's Apple I, which I suspect you don't have in your closet. If you have pictures of your own, but don't know how to post them, email me, and I'll post them here.
I didn't mean that I have Jef Raskin's computer. The photos on digibarn.com show what his computer looks like; mine looks the same. I am a programmer and actually wrote some stuff for that Apple I, but it was so long ago I cannot remember anything about the display. It came with an operating system written in Job's version of Basic. It also came with, or I found somewhere, a version of 'Life'. I wrote some 6502 games for it, Tic-Tac-Toe and stuff like that, but have no idea where the tapes are. All I can say about the board, is that it was working when I put it away, but all I have is the board with the tape reader.
Depending on market conditions you may have a new car in your closet. The box would do much for the value, I suspect.
I have a few Ferrari's I like to sell. Here are some pictures

Of course the above picture shows you what my ferrari's look like, not that those specifically are mine, any offers?
You'd usually add a to denote sarcasm. ( )
I would, but I don't have access to that technology
My thoughts exactly.
Matt
sarcasm is not neccesary, why not to wait and see if this man really has an Apple 1 computer? we have nothing to lose
I have some pictures of my label from THE APPLE COMPUTER COMPANY in Palo Alto, front and back of the Apple I, but don't have a URL to send them to. I would gladly send them by email. There may be more in my closet than an Apple I, like a Commadore KIM computer, but nothing so big as a Ferrari!
you can upload them to your image gallery here just go to: create content click on image and select the image on your computer
My email address is warwick@applefritter.com
Email them here and I will be glad to post them for you.
Please understand, the Apple I is a greatly wanted machine, and as such we need to make sure that you actually have a legitimate Apple I. If you do, we're more than happy to look and try to help you find a buyer, should you wish to sell.
Photo links. Photos were sent via email to me from the original poster.
Largish photos.
