Address Book syncing

(OS X, Tiger)
What's the best way to sync the content in the Address Book at my work machine to the Address Book on my home machine?

An easy, yet non-automatic soln.

Enter the address book that you want to have all of your contacts from, Go to File>Backup Address Book... then email yourself the file it exports. (or put it on your iPod, jump drive, zip disk, etc) Once you get the file to its destination, simply drag the file onto your Address Book program.

Or... if you have .mac, you could just do it automatically that way.

THANK YOU

Go to File>Backup Address Book...

After I zipped the resulting .abbu file, I was able to sftp it to my work machine... worked nicely, being that I only wanted to sync one way. It reduces more than a few steps compared to making zip archives of ~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook -&- ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.AddressBook.plist and sending those up, unarchiving, and replacing their counterparts on another machine. Also, it is vastly superior to just exporting the entire library as a vCard (as that doesn't bring across groups or anything written in "Note:").

Thanks! Smile
