I've got a retail box of BeOS

I've got a retail box of BeOS 4.x and it's a fine OS. It's just freakin' outdated. Any modern Linux distro seriously beats it for general useability and compatability. BeOS is a great example of what an OS could (or should) be, but the lack of drivers and such leads to that same feeling of frustration you get when you try to run a '97ish era Linux distro.

I suggest Fedora Core 4. Its

I suggest Fedora Core 4. Its based on Red Hat Linux, and is very good.

You can get here: http://fedora.redhat.com/

I use it on a Dell Ltitude CPi w/ a 366MHz Processor and 128MB RAM and it runs just fine.
