12.1" XGA LCD
Your AlBook uses the same formfactor LCD as do the 12" iBooks, a 12.1" XGA TFT LCD. That said, it's best to pull off the back bezel and discover your 'Book's exact LCD part number and replace with same. I recently tried replacing a 12" AlBook's LG/Philips LCD with a known-good Samsung part and was unable to get the Samsung part to work. That's the first time I've ever had any problem with this sort of swap. I grabbed an LG panel off the pile and that one worked just fine. Weird.
Search eBay with this string (ltn121x*,lp121x*) (search descriptions and titles), prices hover around US$100 or so.

The genius at the genius bar just told me it will cost around $300 to replce it, so thats what im going by.
But i don't need it anymore thanks to my friend. he has a stack of Albook's he's selling.
