Hi Folks, my boss and I want to be able to chat live to each other in conferences and meetings using an airport network. What software can we use for this? So far we've resorted to putting word files in each others drop boxes! Please help!
We're both on ibook g4's.
Cheers,
Gary
I'm pretty sure you can do just what you're talking about in iChat, using Rendevous messenging.
Thanks! I'll check it out...
if the airport network is also a web distribution network then you can use what ever internet based chat system you want. (AIM, MSN, ICQ, iChat, etc.)
Fire will do rendezvous chat as well, it's compatible with iChat.

(get at least v 1.5)
Adium will as well IIRC, at adiumx.com (much better client, IMO).
Yeah, I only used Fire for MSN but if you want MSN, aMSN is a WAY better MSN client than Adium or Fire though.
So does Proteus.

Thanks all for the help, got ichat working at last staff meeting, perfect for what we need.
Cheers,
Gary
Skype works better imho, and works across pc's and mac's. Its VoIP, and supports rendezvous. But iChat works well too
Never tried Skype before...
anyone have a link?
www.skype.com i think
