Apple 1 power supply from 240V mains

Hi guys i am wondering how to make the 2 transformers used in the Apple 1 from 240V mains as i dont live in the US. It says on the schematic T1 equivalent should be 10V center tapped with a 3A min current rating and T2 should be 28V center tapped with a 1A min current rating. I have been looking for replacements but im not sure if i should buy one online or if i could make my own. Has anyone done this conversion before or found a way to use a 240V transformer? Thanks

220V transformers for Apple-1 ...

... are listed in my "Tips & Tricks" pdf for Apple-1 builders who were using my famous IC kits (only two left ;-)

I've sent you a PM on how to get the Tips & Tricks.

Transformers

Hi Maxplayz,

there you go:

HAMMOND 186D10 for the 10V (10V - No Center Taping needed)

HAMMOND 186D28 for the 28V (14V + 14V - Center Tapping)

They're quite largely available from most retailers (i.e. Mouser).

Enjoy! :-)
