Asimov Apple II Archive

Is it just me or does the Asimov Apple II Archive seem to be down? I've tried yesterday and today to get into it and keep keeping a connection timeout. Does anyone know what's goin on?

Both the HTTP mirror (https:/

Both the HTTP mirror (https://mirrors.apple2.org.za/ftp.apple.asimov.net/) and the FTP site seem to work at the time of posting.

Asimov Apple

FTP does work, but I go via the web (https://www.apple.asimov.net/) and that's where I'm running into the connection timout. It's nice to know that FTP does still work, just wondering why web access is down.

For me https://www.apple.asimov.net works perfectly as well - no timeouts.

This is really weird. Firefox

This is really weird. Firefox is still timing out. Both Google Chrome and Safari show it as a harmful site. If I try doing a web search for it I get the FTP site, along with things like thr Internet archive, but not the web site.

Seems to work fins for me,

Seems to work fins for me, quite fast. I'm in US north east on Mac/Firefox.

The HTTPS comes up secure, but it is a Let's Encrypt certificate that was re-issued on 7/14/2024.

But your first complaint was on the 19th, well after.

By any chance are you using any kind of http/https proxy / cache / etc. and/or have tried to clear your browser cache, etc.? Try firefox "New Private Window" to eliminate any cached session stuff.
