Can you clarify "specifically clear units". Not sure what you mean unless you are talking MacEffects cases. (?)
MacEffect produces reproduction cases in clear, and other colors. Apple actually made clear/transparent version of plastic computers for protoytpying purposes. Apple produced clear prototypes of the Apple IIc, SE, SE/30, Macintosh Portable (M5120/M5126), Classic, Color Classic, WALT, Cadillac, and likely others but those are the one's I'm aware of.

I got this from an apple engineer in the late 90's. I havent turned it on in about 5 years but it was working well then. The red gun in the cathode tude does not work so the color is off but the computer part was working fine.
Would love to see if we could work out a deal. DM sent.
