Need help finding replacements for rifa caps in Frankin Ace 1000 PS

I have a Franklin Ace 1000 I haven't used in a long time, and I see it has 3 RIFA caps that should be replaced. It has an astec aa12180 power supply. I ordered 3 "safety" caps I thought were correct:10 pcs Polypropylene Safety Capacitor 104K 275V 0.1UF 100NF Pitch 10mm

I'd installed two but then had my doubts I had the correct parts and values

Can anyone please let me know if the parts I got will work or point me to some replacements?originals:

  • 40/085/56 GPC
  • 4,9MHz 250v
  • 0,1uf@X
  • c1/c4

1x phe 280kb610

  • 400v
  • 40/100/56
  • miniprint
  • 0,1uf K

The ones you bought and installed are the correct ones. You want polypropylene 0.1 uF caps rated at mains voltage or more.

Now some places do sell new old stock original RIFAs, but you definitely don't want to put those, as they might already have formed cracks and might explode much sooner than the originals did when they were brand new.

Thanks, I swapped all 3 and the machine powers up. Some other issues to check into, but the power supply seems sorted

These capacitors have no

These capacitors have no effect on the machine itself and it will work without them. They are there only to prevent RF interference generated by the power supply to propagate though the electrical outlets in your house.
