Timbuktu menu bar icon

Does anyone here use Timbuktu? Well anyway if anyone uses it is there anyway to take the little screens ooff the menu bar?

CMD+click
Actually, its command (the apple button) +click to drag an item out of or around the menu bar.

yepp. experienced it also.
it works for all standard apple icons, but not the icon for the bluephone manager i'm using... never used timbuktu anyway, so i can't say anything about that, but it seems to work for apple icons only (!?).
No idea how to remove it, but if you option-click & drag it you can move it to a less bothersome place. I usually keep mine just to the left of the Apple icon. The white background obscures a few pixels of the blue apple (in 10.3.9) but it rarely interferes with anything. The far-right side of the menu bar would probably work as well.
Obsolescence is just a lack of imagination.
