Topped out Mystic for sale

I'm not sure if this is the place for this so it may get moved.

I finally decided to bite the bullet for a new ibook and so I'm selling my black mystic which has been an ongoing project for several years. It's listed in ebay as of 4-01-05 for seven days. I've accumulated a lot of items for this project and an selling all for one bid, no reserve.

I put a plug in for applefritters and you guys and girls for all the help you provided to make this project a huge success. I hope whom ever gets it will have as much fun with it as I had building it.

Thanks for all the help!

Connor

Very Cool!

One question, though: I see you have an Acer Airkey wireless keyboard hooked up to this unit. How do you turn the CC on? The CC requires the keyboard power-on button in order to turn on, while the Airkey lacks one. How did you deal with this issue?

To boot an ADB mac via 'keybo

To boot an ADB mac via 'keyboard', all that needs to be done is the power on pin needs to be shorted to ground.

I'm glad you caught that. I ment to put that in the description but there was so much to say, I forgot.

I stopped the auction on it and relisted it correctly. I didn't want someone not use to how the cc is powered on to buy it and be dissatisfied with it. I also changed the shipping to U.S. Somehow it had gotten changed to "Americas".

By the way, how is the easiest way to "short" the "power on" pin to ground while using a wireless keyboard? I tried several things but I'm sure it must be done on the computer proper and not the keyboard.

Thanks...

The wireless receiver/transmi

The wireless receiver/transmitter has an extra adb plug on it to hook up a mouse in addition to the onboard mouse control. I wonder if anyone makes a plug-in button that could be used to turn on the cc? Looks very do-able.

All that needs to be done is

All that needs to be done is hook up a momentary button to the two wires and it works. It's simple to make when it has a cord, but I suspect that a dongle-type form factor would be a little harder to package.
