Initially this one was brought in due to issues with the LCD panel. A replacement was ordered, but once installed the backlight didn't work. An inverter was also ordered but so far the end result is the same. A picture is on the new LCD panel but the backlight is not working. I have tried it with the original and replacement inverter and with the original and replacement LCD panels.
Any ideas as to what it could be?
This has happened before to me with an HP laptop. We took a further step and ordered a replacement display cable with the same results. It would be really nice to get this working properly.
