I'm looking at a USB 2 (iGrabber) video capture system, including software, for my TiPowerbook 500 (with USB 2 PCMCIA card). It says that it works with PowerPC's running OS 10.4, so I should be good to go, right?
Does anyone have a different/same hardware/software solution for standard res video capture that they like?
I'm currently looking at the Startech line of A/V converter products. It looks like they charge a little more for a reliable piece of hardware. I'm evaluating a semi related legacy item, and will post the results of trying to get their HD2VID (HDMI(input) to composite A/V (output)) product working with a Roku3 and/or AppleTV. The Roku3 doesn't like to send most content to it ("Unauthorized HDCP. Content disabled"). I'm going to be testing their customer support, I can just tell.
