sourcing dip connectors for keyboard encoder

Hi,

I have a broken pin on my apple ][ keyboard encorder card ribbon (DIP 16 pins) and I am struggling to find either the connectors or the full cable assembly. Does anyone know a place where I could source any of them? Shoud I consider a swap with a modern connector?

I am based in the UK but don't mind shipping from anywhere.

Jameco

The connectors are available from Jameco, and I belive the cables are also available from other places.

DIP IDC

Most of the "big" suppliers stock these. Search for "DIP IDC" and that's the connector you need.

Also used on Language cards to connect to the main board.

I got mine from RS Components, but only because they were offering cheap shipping at the time :-D
