Emate 300 help!

Both my emates hinges broke and now there touch screens wont work. The screen is fine but the cable must have been damaged. is there a way to repair/replace then or somewere to get them replaced?

The ribbon cable was repaired by splicing with very thin wire, like the individual strand of wire from the braids used in hard drive ribbon cables. Some sort of magnifier is a necessity unless you have Superman vision.
There's a link in that thread to a fantastic disassembly/repair guide that I'm amazed is still in existence.
If you search Applefritter, there's also another rebuild guide by Doug-Doug the Mighty, whose work provided much of the information for my repairs.
