I'll bite . . .
hey,
Is there a question in there?
You're off to a good start...
Well, you're off to a good start: you've recognized the limitations of the SE/30 for internet use.
Personally, I wouldn't use dialup for my internet connection, unless, of course, dialup is your only means of establishing an internet connection. I'd look to get an ethernet card for your SE/30, unless, of course, your one expansion slot is already occupied.
If you have another more recent Mac, or if you have a PC with broadband internet access, you may want to consider putting your SE/30 on your network. This can be done in several ways.
a) get an ethernet card for your SE/30
b) get a SCSI to Ethernet adapter.
c) get an Appletalk to ethernet adapter.
d) run software like IPNetRouter on a newer Mac and route IP over
Localtalk.
All the best...
