Hi all, this is my first post on Applefritter!
I have an alphasyntauri system and an Apple IIe computer.
The sound cards are missing, and so I was going to rebuild them, but I've heard there's a compatibility problem with apple computers.
Some time ago I asked a friend of mine, since he had both the apple IIe and the apple II europlus, to try his sound cards into the two apple to see if they were compatible with both systems. The cards didn't work in the apple IIe.
So I wanted to ask if any of you knew where the problem is . I woundn't say a stupid thing, but I thought the problem could be the operating system, and if so, find out if there is a way to run the europlus operating system on the Apple II computer.
Thanks, and sorry for my english.

I've never seen an Alpha Centauri system running on anything but a ][+, and not a Europlus either. Not saying it can't be done, but the ][+ was what it was intended for.
I would also recommend DOS 3.3, the regular old original US version, probably.
The Mountain Computer Music System is said to have problems with the //e in early revisions. I have never had any problems with the //e though. You can get pictures of the MCMS PCBs from appleii-box.de

Really thanks for your help! As soon as I can try a sound card in my apple I'll let you know.
The keyboard interface card instead, seems to work perfectly.
Regards!
