There are currently 3 Apple II's (not on eBay but 2 of them have me a bit suspicious...
Check out:

That one is from Russia and is VERY clean - but there is no serial number sticker on the bottom case, and the photos don't show the motherboard date. I can't quite tell if its a Rev 3 motherboard or not.
And:

To me, the keys on the keyboard look to be of the later type (more rounded/sculpted) and no information about the motherboard revision, or motherboard dates. Might be totally legit, but I would have to have a lot more info before I would even consider bidding on this one.
Weird how these seem to pop up in groups on eBay. There are 3 or 4 Apple II's on there now, and a ton of II+ and IIe's!!
Jennifer
Jennifer,
I've got them on my Watch List on eBay.
With the one from Russia, there are actually Four of them for sale right now.
I also had heartburn with the one from the computer museum folks.
Steven
When I saw that one from Russia, the first thing that jumped out at me was the fourth photo (closeup of mobo) is of a IIe motherboard.
Zan
Hahaha, yeah I guess someone mentioned this to the seller - they added a note which basically said that was from another computer and was mistakenly put into the ad.
Jennifer
Jennifer,
(Robbie waves his arms wildly)
"WARNING Will Robinson!"
"Danger!" "Danger!"
lol
Steven
Hahahahaha - now I have that imagine stuck in my brain
C'mon Steven, Robby the Robot was from Forbidden Planet (still funny to see Leslie Nielsen as the "handsome" leading man!!)
and The Robot (Robot) was from Lost in Space!
Actually, they were both created by the same guy and they appeared together once or twice in the series. (OK, sorry, had to get my LiS geek hat back on for a minute!!!)
Zan,
Where do you think I pulled that Schtick from? lol
"Hey Rocky...Watch me pull a Rabbit out of my hat!"
"Again?!?!"
Rev 04 - soldered-on memory config blocks. Also the word Rev is visible.
