Good Evening All,
I have been reading my copy of "Sophistication and Simplicity"
and I just finished reading a section on Randy Brandt and JEM Software.
Well, you will have to excuse my ignorance, but in all the years since 1985,
when I bought my first Apple II and my first copy of AppleWorks,
I never knew that Randy had a company called JEM Software.
I know the company is long gone now, but is there some sort of repository (Asimov, etc)
that has some or all of the JEM programs listed and or available?
I must say....This book is EXCELLENT!!!
Thanks in advance for any insight,
Steven
Randy is on Facebook, and participates in the Apple II Community there.
Thanks Sean!!!
Sean and All,
Well...
I got a hold of Randy up on Facebook.
At the same time my JEM Software 1987 Patch disk came in.
I'm on the search quest for more JEM items.
Randy says they're out there. You just have to look.
(sounds a bit like SETI to me) lol
Steven
Good Evening All,
I just finished the book a while ago.
I must say that Steve has done an excellent job.
Lots of really good information to be had by all.
He even has a photo of Woz at this years KansasFest.
Steven
I'm still reading it, and bu far is the best tech history book I have read in a while! Thanks for the recommendation!

When Randy gave me the Quadriga betas and source code last year, I think he included some JEM stuff in the box. Want me to take a look for you?
Also, have you watched the video of his KansasFest 2012 presentation? He talked about JEM some in that.
computist ,
That would be great.
Thank You.
Steven
