Need this screw

Image icon screw283.17 KB

I have a simple question.
I recently have purchased some components for my A2e.
The problem is I don't have the right nut and bolt to attach these to the back.

With this post, I have attached a picture of the screw that I need along with a quarter for size comparison.
Please help me identify this with name and place where I can possibly get them.

Thank you

Re: Need this screw

The place I usually find these is junk cards for PCs. Most of the newer video cards, older serial/parallel cards or any card with a connector on them will have these. Some will be "nutted" others will be screwed right into the connector. I visit our goodwill store and look through the bins for old PC cards that I can take these off of.

If you can't find any, I can send you a few in the mail. Just PM me your mailing address.

P.S. They may not match in color and length exactly, but they will work.

Re: Need this screw

They're called standoff screws, and they're very common on computers. Sneaking one that may be the correct size from a PC monitor or other peripheral port is probably easiest.
This one on ebay looks like it. Short post, long thread.:
