Rest in Peace, Samwise...

Samwise passed away Jan 4 2006. He was a bit of a nibbler, but he was a cute lil bugger.

He will be missed.

I've had several pet rodents, and they can be loads of fun. I'm sure Samwise will be missed.

Today was the birthday of one of my co-workers. Another co-worker (Chari) asked if we remembered what else should be remembered today; it's Dead-Dad Day, named thusly because of the sudden departure of Chari's dad and the dad of a former co-worker (Lance) on the very same day, some 12 years ago. We all worked together at the time (different employer), and I remember the day too well; a true sadness.

And now Samwise. Sadder still.
