WTB: Mac Se/30 upgrades and 30 pin memory

Hey everyone. I am looking for some memory (30 pin 120ns) for my se/30 . I would prefer the 16mb simms but will take 8mb and 4mb's as well. I am also looking for any se/30 upgrades as well such as cache, accelerator, or ethernet card. PM me or e-mail me (slaymaker@excite.com). Thanks in advance

Maybe not 8MB

IIRC, and according to LEM as well, the SE/30 does not work with 8MB simms.
Anyone know differently?

Did they even make 8MB 30-pin

Did they even make 8MB 30-pin SIMMs? My PC repair manual shows 256K, 1MB, 4MB and 16MB in 30-pin.

8meg 30 pins where available.

8meg 30 pins where available. The problem was with most 8's and 16's the board was so big (tall) they wouldn’t fit in an assembled SE 30.

8MB SIMMS for SE/30

Hey,

SE/30s won't read 8MB SIMMs no matter what physical size they are. Simple as that.

No question . . .

Hey,

Yup, SE/30 will take 128MB of RAM. Actually using that much RAM is the challenge . . .

Not sure if it's just my se/3

Not sure if it's just my se/30.. but it takes quite a while to count the ram (128MB) before it boots up. More annoying than useful IMO.

Cool to boast about tho.
