Default browser in OS X
Is there a way to set the default Web Browser in OS X to firefox. I want to click on the URL's in Mail App. and have it open the URL's in FireFox.
Is it possible to do this?
go into safari prefs and go to general then select the default browser menu and select firefox or if it doesnt show up the choose select.
You guys answered my question.
The direct way to do it is:
System Preferences - Internet - Web - Default Web Browser and select from the dropdown list.
danke, thx for the suggestion on fsfox. It helped me set other stuff as well. I prefer using mplayer X as opposed to quicktime, since it is more compatible. and the app let me do that. That really helped with some other problems

Freeware utility MisFox sets app defaults for the various file types and services.
