NewLife 1 and/or NewLife 2

I'm intested in a buying this...if anyone still has some of these (I learned of it in a 1987 MacWorld)

a NewLife 1 or 2 128K Mac upgrade.

It's got to have:
SCSI/External Monitor Port/10MHz CPU/4MB RAM capacity...etc.

Thanks!

WTB/WTS post comment/convert to thread?

dunno if we're supposed to comment to these posts on AF2.0 or not, but this subject is one worth starting a thread about . . . especially so, considering the forums activity lull we've had lately.

I'm almost positive my upgraded 512k has disappeared while out on loan, but there's always hope! A NewLife board was in it along with a 128k MLB replacement, my first purchase from shreve, btw! Back in the day, I was afraid to FUBAR the FatMac soldering a 68000 DIP Socket onto the CPU (Paleolithic PDS hack) that NewLife provided as the alternate approach when 68000 Package Type precluded the standard "Killy Clip" (sp?) installation. I definitely have the clip in a box somewhere around here, it might even be in the original box with the manuals and software. They're most definitely NFS, but I'd be happy to share info and drivers with you.

Any add'l info from other members about these unique upgrades would be much appreciated!

Back Key can recover posts!

If you haven't closed you browser window yet . . .

edit:

. . . if you have, try backtracking in your history/whatever, that sometimes works too, but do keep in mind that ALL forums posting processes suck so . . .

RULE NUMBER 1

ALWAYS, do the Command-a/Command-c "quickstep" just before hitting ANY button in a post entry window ANYTIME you've keyed in .txt!

It's the online equivalent to the old axiom:

ALWAYS hit Command-s BEFORE printing a proof!

In either instance, the importance of adherence to these principles is directly proportional to the quantity of .txt (In graphics programs, it's a geometric progression) input, but at times, empty browser windows can be far more forgiving in the application of negative reinforcement than those %$#%$#%$#^(nasty) System Crashes . . .

The idea is that you hit "pre

The idea is that you hit "preview", check the content of your post, then hit the submit button provided on the second page. It's all there to get you to double check your post before you send it off.
