Carbon Lib Problems in OS 10.3.9

When I am running some third party installer apps (IOXperts registration, Kerberos Extras, etc.), I get a shared library error with CarbonLib. Where are these shared libraries? How would I go about fixing their conflict? (Marriage counseling maybe? )
