Mac Plus Aquarium Tank

About 10 years ago I recall finding places on the internet that sold pre-made acrylic tanks for use with classic Mac models for aquariums. A few years earlier I had started a Macquarium using Andy Inhatko's instructions but gave up when I broke a piece of glass. I would greatly prefer one of those custom tanks since they had a curved front surface that stuck out the screen hole.

Does anyone know if its still possible to buy one of those custom tanks?

Thanks.

Anyone? I have a Mac Plus that I gutted 14 years ago and never finished the Macquarium. I'd like to buy an acrylic tank from someone instead of assembling a glass tank as per Andy Ihnatko's instructions.

Thanks.

Take the glass layout to a glass shop - they will be able to cut the glass to size without issues and at surprisingly low cost. Once correctly cut, gluing together with aquarium silicon glue is easy. The flat front glass is not enough of a problem to worry about.

I am very happy with the LED lighting system that I devised, but I don't use the air pump, cause it's too noisy.

Might I humbly direct you to my very own MacQuarium guide? If you have a shop cut the glass for you (and grind down the sharp edges for safety) it's very easy to build:

Yes, thank you, your page is where I got the design for the glass from (and a lot other ideas).
